Many people are familiar with linocuts, a printmaking process in which an image is carved into linoleum to make a stamp. In this class, we’ll use a similar process to carve our own rubber stamps! Students will learn how to use gouges to carve rubber erasers into designs of their choice. Michelle will also bring handmade paper for us to put final prints on, made by Handmade Papermakers of Green Bay!   We’ll also have a print exchange at the end of class so everyone will go home will a new mini-print collection.
