Paramnesia 2019 - Makers Mark Barrel Aged

Stout | Imperial | Double | Oatmeal | 8.8% ABV | 40 IBU

Aged 12 months in Makers Mark bourbon barrels, this Imperial Oatmeal Stout pours deep black with a mocha brownish head. Low carbonation levels allow it to showcase the bitter astringency of roasted malts. The oats provide rich flavors and body that are big enough to hide the high strength while the Makers Mark oak and residual bourbon notes are released to round out this black Friday heavyweight. Rye Wine 2019

Rye Wine | 11% ABV | 18 IBU

2019 Bourbon Barrel aged Rye Wine. This was aged 41 months in a Woodford Reserved Double Oaked Bourbon barrel. The beer is malty rich, and very warming. Much the same as the common barely wine style, with the added use of Rye. The barrel has really smoothed out this giant beer. IBU's are particularly low in this beer as most of the spice is derived from the rye.
